Course Overview: This 3-month part-time course is designed to equip learners with the skills necessary for a successful career in fashion retailing and visual merchandising. The course will provide an understanding of the principles of fashion marketing, merchandising, and management. It will cover topics such as economic analysis, marketing research, consumer behavior, retail management, and advanced export merchandising. Additionally, the course will cover supply chain management and e-business. This course will be conducted through lectures, case studies, group discussions, and practical assignments.
Course Objectives: Upon completion of the course, learners will be able to:
Teaching Methodology: The course will be taught through a combination of lectures, case studies, group discussions, and practical assignments. Lectures will provide theoretical knowledge while case studies and group discussions will provide an opportunity for learners to apply the knowledge gained. Practical assignments will enable learners to apply visual merchandising techniques in real-world scenarios.
