Course Title: Robotics 

Duration: 3 months (part-time) Target Audience: Indian students interested in self-employment and career growth in robotics

Course Objectives:

• Introduction to D-H parameters and its physical significance
• Orientation of gripper, trajectory planning

Week 3-4: Embedded C Programming

• Introduction to embedded C
• C fundamentals, control statements, functions
• Arrays, pointers programming

Week 5-6: Robotics Sensors and Actuators

• Position sensors, robot calibration by optical encoder, proximity sensors
• Ultrasonic sensors, force and torque sensors, touch and slip sensors
• Specifications and characteristics of stepper motors, AC motors, DC motors, and servo motors

Week 7-8: Case Study - Developing and Building a Robot (Part 1)

• Planning and designing a robot project
• Selection of components and sensors
• Robot assembly and wiring

Week 9-10: Case Study - Developing and Building a Robot (Part 2)

• Programming the robot using embedded C
• Implementing and testing the robot's sensors and actuators
• Troubleshooting and refining the robot's design
