Course Title: Skill Development in Computer Networking

Course Duration: 3 months (Part-Time)

Course Objectives:

The course aims to provide the learners with a comprehensive understanding of computer networking, its basics, components, and implementation. The course intends to equip the learners with the necessary knowledge and skills to design, implement, and troubleshoot computer networks, including wired and wireless networks. Additionally, the course also focuses on developing the personality and communication skills of the learners to help them become more effective professionals in the field of computer networking.

Course Overview:

This three-month part-time course covers the following subjects:

  1. Networking Basics: In this module, learners will get to know about the basics of computer networking, including network types, network models, and network protocols.

  2. Cables and Connectors: This module will introduce learners to the different types of cables and connectors used in computer networking, such as twisted pair, coaxial, and fiber optic cables, and their connectors.

  3. Networking Devices: This module will cover the various networking devices, such as routers, switches, and hubs. Learners will learn about their functions and how to configure them.

  4. Ethernet: In this module, learners will learn about Ethernet, the most widely used protocol in computer networking. They will learn about its standards, protocols, and configurations.

  5. Network Implementation: In this module, learners will learn how to design, implement, and troubleshoot computer networks, including wired and wireless networks.

  6. Wireless Networking: This module will cover the basics of wireless networking, including standards, protocols, and configurations.
